Development Associate

The Development Associate is focused on identifying and deepening relationships with key stakeholders, foundations, and individuals aimed at growing Women Winning’s fundraising program. The Development Associate reports to the Executive Director, a great position for a driven, goal-oriented person who likes working as a team player and wants to grow their skills. We seek a highly energetic individual to meet this critical fundraising moment in the pro-choice movement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work in partnership with Executive Director
Fundraising with new integrated development operation to diversify revenue
Implement fundraising strategies, including email/web/social campaigns, bi-annual letter, donor engagement and appreciation, driven by a robust calendar
Grant research and grant writing
Assist with WW Signature Events: branding, strategy, outreach, silent auction, volunteers
Delivery of donor benefits for major gift, sustaining, and planned giving donors

Commitment to the mission of Women Winning
Excellent interpersonal skills, highly collaborative, and superb judgement
Ability to lead a range of fundraising strategies: major gifts, events, institutional giving
Passion for planning and executing creative, inclusive, and successful events of all sizes
Experience working with principals and prominent national and community leaders
Experience with political campaigns (paid or volunteer) is preferable, but not required
Ability to work with and meet the needs of diverse stakeholders
Experience using fundraising platforms, databases, CRM (One Cause, EveryAction)
Bachelor’s degree or four year’s experience in fundraising or advancement field; or a similar combination of experience and education

Hours: Part-time - 20-25 hours/week.

Compensation: $20,000 - $30,000 based on education and experience.

Primary Work Location: In-person. St. Paul, Minnesota office
