“As radical cities, counties, and states around the country try to end medically necessary, life saving, and critically important access to abortion, we need to elect pro-choice women up and down the ballot who will defend the right to control our own bodies,” said Britta Moen, Women Winning Political Director. “We are proud to endorse ten women who will fight to protect abortion rights in Minneapolis and Saint Paul.”

Women Winning makes endorsements throughout the year. The organization’s targeted endorsement program centers on pro-choice women candidates with the goal of electing a truly representative government and creating a more equitable Minnesota.

With the right to an abortion no longer protected at the federal level, there has never been a  more important time to elect pro-choice champions in Minnesota. While abortion is still legal in  Minnesota, it is not in many states across the country – including states in the Midwest. We must take action now to elect relentlessly pro-choice leaders here in Minnesota.
