We are incredibly thrilled to announce Women Winning has hired a second Political Director — please join us in welcoming Nevada Littlewolf! The monumental 2020 election is just over a year away and the work to elect pro-choice women — from FLIPPING the Minnesota Senate to putting a woman in the White House — is well underway. To meet this critical moment and ensure that pro-choice women across Minnesota have the resources to win, Women Winning is expanding our team.

Nevada Littlewolf

Nevada brings more than 20 years of experience working across sectors of community, government, philanthropy, non-profit, and business. She is a former elected official, serving on the Virginia, Minnesota City Council from 2008-2018. Not only has Nevada run for office, she has also recruited and trained women to run for office during her time with Wellstone Action and The White House Project. Nevada has spent her life working for equity, especially on behalf of women, children, communities of color, and indigenous people.

Her leadership includes service on the boards of Women’s Foundation of Minnesota, ClearWay MN, and Minnesota Urban Debate League. She is a citizen of Leech Lake Nation. Nevada holds a BFA from the University of Minnesota Duluth, is currently an MPA graduate student at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, and is a 2016 Bush Fellow.

Pro-choice women continue to step up to run in record numbers. In the past ten months, more than 400 pro-choice women have contacted Women Winning because they are ready to run for office! Women Winning is prepared to meet these opportunities head-on and we’re thrilled to have Nevada’s leadership in this essential work. Together, we will elect the government we deserve in 2020!
