Today, the Women Winning Board of Directors announces the appointment of Nevada Littlewolf as Women Winning’s next Executive Director, effective November 1, 2022.

“We are thrilled that Nevada will bring her over 25 years of experience across sectors to Women Winning,” said Emma Faris, Chair of the Board. “Through her groundbreaking political experience – from her own campaigns for her Virginia, Minnesota, City Council seat, to serving as Women Winning’s Political Director, and in 2020, leading the Biden/Harris campaign to victory in Minnesota as the state’s Political Director – Nevada has demonstrated the leadership skills, deep relationships, and transformational vision we sought in our next Executive Director.”

“Minnesota has been at the forefront of pro-choice leadership. I’m thrilled to be a part of the future of women’s leadership with Women Winning,” said Nevada Littlewolf. “We are in the moment to make transformational change and ensure all women have reproductive justice.”

Currently, Nevada serves as Executive Director of Our Children and the Campaign Manager of the Page Amendment, an organization and effort focused on equity in education inspired and led by former Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Alan Page. Nevada is a citizen of Leech Lake Nation and has spent her life working with women, communities of color, and Indigenous people building power.

With early voting underway and Election Day a few weeks away, Women Winning is working across the state to support its endorsed candidates and elect leaders who will protect access to reproductive rights for everyone in Minnesota.

For 40 years, Women Winning has been building a movement of more than 19,000 inspired people united in our work to recruit, train, and elect pro-choice women to all levels of public office, from park board to President of the United States. The Board of Women Winning worked with kpCompanies, a Minnesota based, Black woman owned search firm, on this search.
