Voters should know that I’m the best candidate for the job. I have a record of public service that spans more than 35 years, and that service comes from the heart. Not only am I competent, but I’m also smart. What truly matters is my willingness to do the hard work. I didn’t step into this role for the spotlight; I’m not a person that loves to see my picture on campaign literature or in front of the camera. I simply want to get the work done.

When I reflect on the things that we passed, and the number of bills that affect our community so greatly, it’s not only an honor and a privilege — it’s remarkable what happens when people who care so deeply come together and are honest and passionate about the work.

To me, Reproductive Justice means ensuring that everyone, regardless of their background, has the right and the resources to make decisions about their own bodies, health, and family life.
