Saint Paul, Minn. (April 4, 2025) – Today, Women Winning, Minnesota’s largest women’s political organization, announced the first slate of pro-choice champions running for local office on the Minneapolis City Council in 2025.
“As radical anti-choice zealots seek to end access to abortion care across cities and states nationwide, Minneapolitans can rest easy knowing that these exceptional champions for choice and access are representing their values at Minneapolis City Hall,” said Britta Moen, Women Winning Political Director. “We are incredibly proud to endorse these fierce leaders who have shown time and time again that they have the health, welfare, and bodily autonomy of their constituents in mind at every possible turn.”
Women Winning is proud to endorse five pro-choice champions running for City Council in Minneapolis:
- Robin Wonsley – Minneapolis City Council, Ward 2*
- LaTrisha Vetaw – Minneapolis City Council, Ward 4*
- Katie Cashman – Minneapolis City Council, Ward 7*
- Aurin Chowdhury – Minneapolis CIty Council, Ward 12*
- Linea Palmisano – Minneapolis City Council, Ward 13*

Women Winning will make additional endorsements in 2025 and will continue organizing to ensure reproductive rights are protected by electing pro-choice champions up and down the ballot.
