Saint Paul, Minn. (September 13, 2023) – Today, Women Winning, Minnesota’s largest women’s political organization, announced the endorsement of twenty-four pro-choice women running for Mayor, City Council, and School Board in 2023.
“In 2022, Women Winning found success in electing the first pro-choice majority to the Minnesota, House, and Governor/Lieutenant Governor’s Office, and we aren’t stopping there. With the endorsement of these 25 pro-choice champions throughout the Twin Cities Metro and Greater Minnesota, we further cement our intention to create a more equitable, just Minnesota– building on that energy to elect local governments that truly represent Minnesotans across the state,” said Women Winning Political Director, Britta Moen. “From medically accurate, age appropriate sex education in schools, to doubling down and providing support to those seeking abortion care in their communities, these pro-choice women will champion the fight for reproductive justice at every turn. We are immensely proud to support them in their work.”
